While developing South Park, creators Trey Parker and Matt Stone observed that most groups of friends in small towns included one “poor kid.” In Parker’s group growing up, this friend was named Kenny. Aside from his poverty, the real life Kenny apparently had a tendency to miss school a lot. When he failed to show up at the bus stop, Parker and his friends would jokingly suggest that he had died since the previous day, then act nonchalant whenever they saw him again. Together, these two facts helped to inspire the South Park character Kenny McCormick. (Whether or not the real Kenny was unintelligible under an orange parka is unknown.)

Interestingly, in South Park‘s original short, The Spirit of Christmas: Jesus vs. Frosty, “Kenny” was the name of the fat kid who eventually evolved into Cartman. He was killed off by the demonic Frosty first, complete with catchphrases, while another character who resembles modern Kenny died a bit later with no such fanfare. By The Spirit of Christmas: Jesus vs. Santa, however, Kenny had his proper name, design and fatally bad luck.

While Kenny’s constant deaths are his best known attribute, he has gained more longevity since the seventh season.

Look all you want, but you won’t find the town of South Park on any map of Colorado. No matter. The town is clearly modeled after one of the many small, out-of-the-way towns that dot the spine of the Rockies, playing upon the insecurities that exist in small towns everywhere.

In one sense, it’s easy to explain why it’s always winter in South Park: up in those high mountain valleys, the snow lingers nine months out of the year and “summer” simply defines that season where the sun shines consistently and the nights aren’t harsh enough to kill all the newly-sprouted flowering plants.Want more? Click here/tag Die-hard fans of the show remember that in Episode 8 of Season 2, aptly named “Summer Sucks,” the town of South Park briefly thaws out in time for July 4th festivities–with disastrous results, of course.

Maybe it’s best to think of South Park’s permanent winter in terms of metaphor rather than meteorology. After all, the townspeople so frequently get hot and bothered about the day’s issues despite the cold outside. Maybe that’s Matt and Trey’s way of telling us that no matter how cold and cynical the world can be, it’s important to remain optimistic and engaged.

5 – Good Times With Weapons – The boys purchase ninja weapons at a fair, taking their aggressions out on Butters. Most of the episode is spent trying to get Butters medical attention that won’t get anyone in trouble.

South Park is a very funny animated comedy television show. The show is pointless and at some times includes controversial topics but the mix of comedy, pointlessness, and bad language is hilarious. The idea of these kids saying such vulgar things makes for a great comedy show for people who don’t take things too seriously. The truth behind South Parks bad language is to get people to watch the show. People seem to be drawn in to shows that are more controversial and untamed. When you sit down and look at the show you can’t help but laugh at some of the stuff that comes out of the characters’ mouths.
South Park brought something different to the idea of an animated series. Viewers caught on and became fans of the show. At one point people were always talking about how funny the recent episode was with friends and actually quoting lines from the show. South Park also faced backlash from people who didn’t approve of some of the shows topics but overall the show was very successful. Everyone disagrees with something a show includes at some point. The recipe of bad language, comedy, and a animated series with some edge made the show a success.

The voice of Eric Cartman is truly an unforgettable one which many people have undoubtedly tried reproducing. Unfortunately for them, this voice can only truly be done by one person Trey Parker. In addition to voicing this hilarious and popular character, Trey Parker is one of the creators of the hit show “South Park”.

Eric Cartman isn’t the only character Trey Parker has voiced on this hit TV show; he has also voiced the following “South Park” characters: Stan Marsh, Randy Marsh, Clyde Donovan, Mr. Garrison, Mr. Hankey, Timmy, God, Satan, Officer Barbrady and various other characters.

Voice acting isn’t the only talent of Trey Parker. He is also an animator, director, screenwriter, producer, actor and musician. In addition to creating South Park, Trey Parker also helped to create, “That’s My Bush!”, “Team America: World Police” and “Jesus Vs. Frosty”. As an actor, you may have seen him in the following movies: “Orgazmo”, “Terror Firmer”, “BASEketball” and “Tales From The Crapper”.

Additionally, Parker is a member of the band DVDA, along with “South Park” co-creator Matt Stone, in which he sings and plays vocals. The band’s music can often be heard on the soundtracks of the movies Parker has been a part of.

“South Park” is a show that was created by Trey Parker and Matt Stone and made its debut back in 1997. The show is currently in its fifteenth season and continues to grow in popularity. The main characters of the show are Kenny, Stan, Cartman and Kyle. The boys are all in Elementary School, but talk like grown-ups and swear like sailors.

The show depicts the hilarious things that these little boys get themselves into. “South Park” is also known for poking fun of religion, celebrities and pop culture. The show has also grown in controversy during its fourteen-year run. Many religious groups do not like how the show makes fun of religion. Others simply detest the show’s profanity and irreverent humor. As a result, many lawsuits have been filed against “South Park.”

While many people do not like the fact that show repeatedly pushes the envelope, it still has many supporters. Many people have praised the fact that “South Park” is not afraid to go there. Others just think that it is harmless entertainment. People usually either love or hate the show, there is usually not a middle ground. Regardless of how people feel about “South Park,” it will be around for a few more seasons.
